Sustainable Development Planning Projects

transit/rail graphicThe Regional Transportation Council has awarded $1 Million for planning studies
in each Sustainable Development Call for Projects through the 2001, 2005-2006,
and 2009-2010 SDCFPs. The purpose of the program is to promote sustainable growth and development by planning for the implementation of land use and transportation integration, smart growth, and other sustainable development principles. Studies range from infrastructure analysis, transit-oriented development station area planning, and market analysis, to urban design guidelines and planning for complete streets.
